I ordered this mower to replace an older snapper which had been a great mower. When I received the mower via ups, and completed the set-up procedures, i discovered that the front right wheel was bent. Apparently the carton had been dropped. I notified ups, snapper and amazon on a friday. ups arranged for a pick-up for the following monday and informed me that they had contacted amazon. I e-mailed amazon on the same friday indicating my predicament and asked for assistance. On checking my e-mails on sunday, amazon replied that they had shipped a replacement that friday and i was able to download shipping labels for the return of the defective mower. The new mower arrived
on thursday and works as advertised and does a great job. kudos to amazon for superb customer service!!!!!
Incidentally, snapper customer service was the least helpful. They wanted me to take the mower to a dealer for
repair. I told them that i did not want a repair, but rather a new mower like i had ordered. -- fantastic amazon customer service
This mower performs great in all aspects.
I suggest the mfg install a larger engine
for tall grass 7.0 or 8.75 - This would
make the mower complete. -- (Wonderful)
I have had several walk-behind mowers and this is the best. It is very solid, easy to handle and does an excellent job of mowing and vacuuming yard debris. Uphill traction is great. -- good mower
I purchased this mower to replace my old snapper self propelled 21" and was disappointed with the new style drive speed control compared to the old disk drive speed control. With the old style you could set it at a fixed speed. The new style is variable by lever position and it is very sensitive so I end up running part of the time to keep up with the mower. Otherwise it performs good. -- speedy snapper
